- 13 in casserole dish
- 4 garlic (cloves)
- 2 more times till gone
- 1 1/2 onion (red)
- 3/8 sauce
- 3/8 ricotta
- 3/8 mozzarella
- 700 ml tomato sauce by machine (sliced)
- 450 gr beef (lean ground)
- 260 gr sweet italian sausage
- 240 gr low-fat ricotta cheese
- 210 gr mozzarella cheese
- 190 gr tomato paste
- 120 ml water
- 120 ml dry wine (red)
- 80 gr parmesan cheese (shredded)
- 2 gr oregano
- 1 gr black pepper
- some salt if you are a salt lover
One of my favorites, as well as mom's. Freezes well and is great on a cold winter night when you want something warm and hearty but don't feel like cooking. Serve with hot sour dough garlic french bread and a tossed green salad. -----
