Ingredients
- 8 mushrooms
- 1 beef top sirloin steak (boneless)
- 1 bell pepper
- 30 ml vegetable oil
- 16 ml lemon juice (fresh)
- 16 ml water
- 10 ml dijon-style mustard
- 5 ml honey
- 1 gr oregano leaves (dried)
- 1 gr pepper
Cut beef steak into 3 cm pieces. In large bowl, whisk together marinade ingredients; add beef, bell pepper and mushrooms, tossing to coat. Alternately thread pieces of beef, bell pepper and mushrooms on each of four 30 cm metal skewers. Place kabobs on rack in broiler pan so surface of meat is 3 to 10 cm from heat. Broil 8 to 10 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness, turning occasionally. Season with salt, if desired.
