- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 at a time
- 1 in a zip top duty plastic bag (heavy)
- 1 thickness
- 5 3/4 c all purpose flour
- 5 cups flour
- 1 1/4 c unsweetened applesauce
- 1 c sugar
- 5/8 c margarine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 c warm water
- 2 tablespoons melted margarine over doughnu let rise
- 2 ts cinnamon (ground)
- 1/2 ts salt
- 1/2 ts nutmeg (ground)
- 2 packages dry yeast
tablespoons melted margarine over baked doughnuts; add doughnuts to plastic bag. Seal the bag and shake to coat. Yield: 3 dozen doughnuts
