Ingredients
- 6 apples
- 2 baking (pan)
- 1 c sugar
- 1 1/2 c cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1 1/4 c all purpose flour
- 3/8 c butter
- 1/4 c milk
- 1 1/2 ts baking powder
- 1/4 ts cinnamon
cored and thinly sliced, 3/4 cup of the sugar, 1/4 cup of the flour and the cinnamon in large bowl; toss together. Spread evenly in prepared pan. Combine remaining 1 cup flour, remaining 1/4 cup sugar, baking powder and cheese in large bowl; toss together to combine. Add butter and milk, stirring until just combined. Spoon cheese mixture over apple mixture in pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until topping is crisp and golden and apples are tender. Serve warm. ----
