Ingredients
- 1 whipped cream
- 1 3/4 c water (hot)
- 3/4 c brown sugar
- 1 c sifted flour
- 1/2 c milk
- 1/2 c sugar
- 3/4 c walnuts (chopped)
- 1 oz unsweetened chocolate
- 2 tb melted shortening
- 1/4 c unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 ts baking powder
- 1 ts vanilla
- 1/2 ts salt
over batter. Bake at 375F 40 minutes. As pudding bakes, cake layer forms on top with rich sauce on bottom. Spoon warm pudding cake into dessert dishes and top with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
