Ingredients
- 6 sweet potatoes
- 6 ingredients in a saucepan
- 1/2 baking dish
- 16 ounce cans of potatoes in syrup (cut light)
- 1/2 c pineapple juice
- 1/4 c honey
- 1/4 c brown sugar
- 1/4 c walnuts
- 2 tb butter
- 1 tb cornstarch
- 2 ts orange rind
- 1/2 ts cinnamon (ground)
- 1/4 ts nutmeg (ground)
- 3 packages sweet potatoes
walnuts, cover and refrigerate 8 hours. Remove from regrigerator and let stand at room temperature 30 minutes. Uncover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Southern Living: Home for the Holidays 1993 ----
