Ingredients
- 1 lentils
- 1 packet vegetable broth
- 3 cups water
- 2 cups carrots (sliced)
- 1/2 cup rice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic
- 1 teaspoon basil (dried)
Wash and pick over lentils. Place in large pot with rice and carrots. Add all remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and cook until rice is done, 20 to 30 minutes.
