Ingredients
- 2 garlic (cloves minced)
- 1 c water
- 1 c wine (red)
- 8 oz cans no-salt tomatoes
- 6 oz cans no-salt tom paste
- 2 ts oregano leaves (dried)
- 1 ts sugar
- 1 ts pepper
In a deep saucepan, cook onion in oil or PAM until soft. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 2 to 3 hours. Taste after 1 1/2 hours and adjust seasoning. Sauteed mushrooms are a great addition.
