Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 crisco
- 2 1/2 c flour
- 2 c dry oats
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 1 c water
- 1 c golden raisins
- 1/2 c nuts
- 1 ts baking soda
- 1 ts vanilla
- 1 ts salt
- 1 ts cinnamon
- 1/2 ts baking powder
liquid to make 1/2 cup. Heat oven to 400~F. Mix together crisco, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in reserved liquid. Slowly blend in remaining ingredients. Drop by rounded teaspoonsonto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8 ~ 10 minutes or until cookies are golden. Makes 6 dozen cookies. Store in airtight containers. ----
