- 1/2 sifted flour mixture the butter sugar mixture (into)
- 1/2 flour mixture
- 4 c cake flour
- 2 c buttermilk
- 2 c granulated sugar
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 c butter softened (unsalted)
- 1 tb vanilla extract
- 2 ts baking soda
- 1 t salt
- 1 t nutmeg (ground)
pan, and cool completely before serving. Transfer to a serving plate. Dust with confectioners' sugar.
