Ingredients
- 2 flank steaks
- 1 gingerroot
- 10 1/2 oz beef broth (canned)
- 1 c dry wine (white)
- 1/2 c soy sauce
- 2 tb lemon juice
- 2 tb brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tb onion (minced)
- 1/4 ts garlic (minced)
crushed Slice steaks diagonally across grain into 1/4X 1-inch strips. Place in large bowl. Mix wine, soy sauce, onion, garlic, lemon juice, brown sugar, broth and gingerroot. Pour over meat and marinate 1 hour, turning 3 or 4 times. Thread on skewers and grill over coals until done as desired. Makes 30 to 40
