Ingredients
- 2 flank steaks
- 1 gingerroot
- 300 ml beef broth (canned)
- 240 ml dry wine (white)
- 120 ml soy sauce
- 30 ml lemon juice
- 28 gr brown sugar
- 9 gr onion (minced)
- 1 gr garlic (minced)
crushed Slice steaks diagonally across grain into 0.25X 3 cm strips. Place in large bowl. Mix wine, soy sauce, onion, garlic, lemon juice, brown sugar, broth and gingerroot. Pour over meat and marinate 1 hour, turning 3 or 4 times. Thread on skewers and grill over coals until done as desired. Makes 30 to 40
