Ingredients
- 9 walnuthalves for (garnish)
- 1 egg
- 250 gr flour
- 220 gr brown sugar
- 180 ml applesauce
- 95 gr shortening
- 85 gr raisins
- 60 gr walnuts
- 5 gr baking powder
- 3 gr cinnamon
- 2 gr nutmeg
- 1 gr salt
- 1 gr baking soda
until creamy. 3. Stir in egg, than applesauce. Blend in reminding ingridients except walnut halves. 4. Spread mixture into an 20 cm square non stick baking dish. 5. Place walnut halves on top of dough. 6. Bake for 40 minutes, or until firm to the touch. 7 Cool in pan;cut into nine squares. Typed by Brigitte Sealing ----
