Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 450 gr brown sugar
- 450 gr flour
- 190 gr shortening
- 120 ml buttermilk
- 5 gr baking soda
- 3 gr salt
MIX SHORTENING, SUGAR, AND EGGS THOROUGHLY. STIR IN BUTTERMILK. MEASURE FLOUR BY DIPPING METHOD. STIR FLOUR, SALT, AND SODA TOGETHER. BLEND INTO SUGAR MIXTURE. CHILL FOR AT LEAST 1 HOUR. HEAT OVEN TO 2200ÂșC . DROP DOUGH BY TEASPOONFULS ONTO COOKIE SHEETS 5 cm APART. (COOKIE SHEET SHEETS SHOULD BE LIGHTLY GREASED.) BAKE 8 TO 10 MINUTES.
