Ingredients
- 1 onion (minced)
- 900 gr beef (ground)
- 575 gr spinach (frozen thawed)
- 450 gr cottage cheese
- 425 ml tomato sauce
- 350 gr tomato paste
- 230 gr mozzarella (shredded)
- 130 gr mushrooms (sliced drained)
- 8 gr sugar
- 3 gr salt
- 2 gr oregano leaves
- 1 gr pepper
- 1 gr basil
Cook ground beef and onion on medium high until brown. Drain fat. Add next seven ingredients; heat to boiling. Reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, until thickened. squeeze liquid from spinach. Combine with cottage cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Spoon meat mixture into 13x9 inch baking dish. Sprinkle half of mozzarella cheese. Top with spinach. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top. Bake at 180ÂșC for 25-30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
