Ingredients
- 1 cherries
- 1 mixed peel (dried)
- 475 ml water (cold)
- 400 gr sugar (white)
- 375 gr flour
- 325 gr seeded raisins
- 24 gr shortening
- 5 ml soda
- 4 gr vanilla
- 3 gr cinnamon
- 2 gr nutmeg
- 1 gr salt
Boil and stir for 5 minutes the sugar, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, shortening, raisins and water. Let cool and then add the remaining ingredients. Next pour into large well greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 375* for 1.5 hours.
