Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 thickness
- 1,900 ml saucepan
- 475 gr all purpose flour
- 300 gr sugar
- 280 gr dates
- 240 ml water
- 220 gr brown sugar
- 110 gr butter
- 110 gr margarine
- 60 gr walnuts (chopped)
- 5 gr baking soda
Chill about 1 hour. Slice and bake at 190ºC for 10 to 15 minutes. This recipe is nearly 100 years old. These cookies are great at Christmas time. ----
