Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 fig preserves
- 1 buttermilk glaze
- 300 gr sugar
- 250 gr all purpose flour
- 240 ml buttermilk
- 240 ml vegetable oil
- 60 gr pecans
- 14 gr vanilla extract
- 5 gr baking soda
- 3 gr cinnamon (ground)
- 2 gr nutmeg (ground)
- 1 gr salt
- 1 gr allspice (ground)
Combine first 8 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; add oil and eggs, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer. Add buttermilk and vanilla, beating well. Stir in preserves and pecans. Pour batter into a greased and floured 25 cm tube pan. Bake at 180ÂșC or 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove from pan and place on serving plate. Pour Buttermilk Glaze over ----
