Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 oatmeal (cooked)
- 250 gr sifted all-purpose flour
- 120 ml molasses (light)
- 110 gr brown sugar
- 95 gr shortening
- 10 gr ginger
- 5 gr baking powder
- 2 ml soda
- 1 gr salt
- 1 gr allspice
- 1 gr cinnamon
Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt and spices into bowl. Add remaining ingredients. Beat until smooth, about 2 minutes. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cooky sheets. Bake in preheated moderate oven (375 F.) dozen to 15 minutes. Remove from cooky sheets; cool. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar, if desired. *NOTE: Cook Quaker Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked) according to package directions.
