Ingredients
- 40 bran flakes cereal
- 4 eggs
- 425 ml milk
- 250 gr raisins
- 160 ml honey
- 160 ml vegetable oil
- 130 gr wheat flour (whole)
- 130 gr soy flour
- 130 gr wheat germ (toasted)
- 60 ml dark molasses
- 18 gr baking powder
- 3 gr nutmeg
- 2 gr salt
Combine bran Flakes, raisins and milk in large mixing bowl. Stir together whole wheat flour, soy flour, wheat germ, baking powder, nutmeg and salt; set aside.
Combine eggs, honey, oil and molasses in small bowl; blend well. Add egg mixture to soaked bran flakes; mix well. Add dry ingredients all at once to bran mixture, stirring just enough to moisten. Spoon batter into paper-lined 8 cm muffin-pan cups, filling 0.66666666666667rds full.
Bake in 180ÂșC oven 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot with butter and homemade jelly or jam.
