Ingredients
- 5 apples unpeeled
- 4 eggs
- 750 gr unsifted flour
- 400 gr sugar
- 240 ml vegetable oil
- 120 ml orange juice
- 14 gr baking powder
- 8 gr vanilla
- 5 gr cinnamon
- 1 gr salt
preheat oven to 35o F. Core and slice the apples in eighths. Place in a large bowl and sprinkle with the cinnamon and 5 tablespoons sugar. Beat eggs and gradually add remaining sugar oil, orange juice and vanilla. Stift together flour, baking powder and salt. Combine egg mixture. Grease a tube pan and dust with floiur. Pour one third of the batter into the pan. Layer with one third of the apples. Repeted for 2 more layers, ending with apples on top. Bake 1.5 hours until golden on the top. Let sit a few minutes and then unmold
