Ingredients
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 cabbage (red)
- 1 lemon juice
- 1/2 onion
- 240 ml wine (red)
- 110 gr butter
- 75 gr brown sugar
- 60 ml vinegar
- 4 slices apples
Melt butter in 4 litre Dutch oven. Add apples and onions, saute slightly. Add finely shredded cabbage, red wine, cloves, sugar, and bay leaves. Simmer, covered, for 1 hour, then add the remaining ingredients. Heat to melt the butter and serve immediately.
