Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 4 1/2 c all purpose flour
- 1 c butter
- 1 c corn oil
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c powdered sugar
- 1 ts cream of tartar
- 1 ts baking soda
- 1 ts vanilla extract
- 1 ts salt
Beat first 6 ingredients together well. Sift remaining ingredients together; add to first mixture, and blend well. Shape dough into small balls. Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes (check before that, so they don't overbake). Makes about 8 dozen. ----
