Ingredients
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 graham cracker pie crust
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (light)
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3/8 cup butter
- 3 tablespoon flour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Preheat oven to 374 degrees. Brush bottom and sides ofcrust, evenly, with egg yolk;bake on baking sheet untillight brown, about 5 minutes. Remove crust fromoven. Combine sliced apples, lemon juice, 1/2 cup sugar,1/4 cup brown sugar, 3 tbsp. flour, salt, cinnamon andnutmeg. Mix well and spoon into crust. Mix remainingflour, sugar, brown sugar and butter with fork or pastryblender until crumbly. Sprinkle topping mixture, evenly,over apples. Bake on baking sheet, about 50 minutes. Coolon wire rack. Serve at room temperature.
