Ingredients
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- 1 top
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 cups broccoli flowerettes
- 1 tablespoon dry wine (white)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons safflower oil
- 1/8 teaspoon ginger (ground)
Cut meat into 1-inch strips. Mix together first four ingredients and marinate meat strips for 1 hour. Heat oil in skillet over moderate heat. Remove meat f rom marinade (reserve) and brown quickly on both sides. Add the broccoli and c ook until easily pierced with fork. Combine broth, cornstarch and marinade; st ir into skillet mixture. Cook until sauce thickens.
