Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 3/4 c sugar
- 2 1/2 c carrots (shredded)
- 2 1/2 c flour
- 1 c butter
- 3/4 c chocolate chips
- 1/2 c water
- 3/4 c nuts (chopped)
- 1 tb vanilla
- 2 tb baking cocoa
- 1 ts baking soda
- 1 ts nutmeg
- 1/2 ts cinnamon
- 1/2 ts allspice
Preheat oven to 350. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift dry ingredients together; add to creamed mixture alternately with water and vanilla. Fold in carrots, nuts and chips. Turn into prepared 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake for 45 minutes.
