Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 c hersheys semi-sweet
- 2 1/2 c all purpose flour
- 1 c butter
- 3/4 c packed brown sugar (light)
- 3/4 c granulated sugar
- 1 c nuts (chopped)
- 1 t baking soda
- 1 t vanilla extract
- 1/2 t salt
Heat oven to 375'F. In bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and salt. In large mixer bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs; beat well. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts, if desired. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. Makes about 6 dozen cookies. PAN RECIPE: Spread batter in greased 15.5x10x5x1" jelly-roll pan. Bake at 375'F. 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely; cut into bars. Makes about 4 dozen bars.
