Ingredients
- 1 egg (slightly beaten)
- 1 1/2 pounds beef (lean ground)
- 1 cup tomato juice
- 3/4 cup quaker oats
- 1/4 cup onion (chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
*May substitute 2 egg whites Heat oven to 350`F. Combine all ingredients; mix lightly but thoroughly. Press into 8 x 4-inch loaf pan; bake 1 hour, or until meat is no longer pink and juices run clear. Drain; let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
