- 4 onions
- 1 chile (whole fresh hot)
- 1 lb stewing beef
- 1 c water or beef broth
- 1/2 cup juice from the tomatoes (canned)
- 6 tb vegetable oil
- 1 lb spinach (fresh)
- 1/4 c green bell pepper
- 1 1/2 ts ginger (minced fresh)
- 2 ts cayenne more
- 1/4 ts sugar
- 1/4 ts salt
