Ingredients
- 3 garlic (cloves minced)
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1 jalapeno chili pepper (finely chopped)
- 1 pound beef top round steak in (boneless cut)
- 14 1/2 oz cans tomatoes undrained (whole)
- 4 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper (ground red)
Spray nonstick Dutch oven or large skillet with cooking spray. Heat over mediu m-high heat until hot. Add beef, onion, chile pepper and garlic; cook until be ef is no longer pink. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 15-20 minutes or until slightly thickened and flavors are blended, stirring occasionally.
