Ingredients
- 1 pound flank steak
- 1 cup soft wheat bread (whole)
- 1/4 cup tomato (chopped)
- 1/4 cup carrots (chopped)
- 1/4 cup onion (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/4 cup celery (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon powdered thyme
- 1 dash pepper
Pound steak to tenderize. Cut pocket in center of steak. Combine remaining in gredients and mix well. Stuff steak and secure opening with skewers. Broil 3 inches from heat 3-4 minutes on each side, or longer to taste. To serve cut th in slices diagonally across grain.
