Ingredients
- 7 garlic (cloves)
- 3 onions
- 2 round (ground)
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 bell pepper (diced)
- 28 oz chili beans
- 28 oz tomatoes
- 12 oz tomato paste
- 3 ounces jalapeno peppers (canned sliced)
- 5 tablespoons chili powder
- 3 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon pepper flakes (red)
- 3 teaspoons cumin (ground)
Brown beef, onions, and bell pepper. Add garlic. When browned add rest of the ingredients except beans and jalapenos. Simmer for 2 hours. Add beans and jalapeno peppers and simmer for one hour longer.
