- 1 egg
- 270 gr apricots (dried)
- 250 gr flour
- 240 ml applesauce
- 200 gr sugar
- 140 gr pecans
- 95 gr shortening
- 55 gr apricot brandy
- 14 gr apricot brandy
- 5 gr baking soda
- 3 gr cinnamon
- 1 gr salt
- 1 gr nutmeg
- 1 gr allspice
toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool loaf in pan for 10 loaf. Notes: May be frozen up to 3 months. This is more of a sweet cake than a bread. May be wrapped in cheesecloth and soaked with additional brandy and stored in a tin, if desired. Judy Garnett ----
