Ingredients
- 2 bacon drippings
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 700 gr beef (ground)
- 475 ml tomato juice
- 350 ml water boiling
- 120 gr rice
- 55 gr cheese
- 32 gr olives
- 4 gr salt
- 2 gr paprika
- 1 gr pepper
Saute ground beef, rice, and onion in bacon drippings. Pour off drippings. Add remaining ingredients except cheese; mix well. Place in a 1- half quart casserole. Cover tightly; bake at 150ÂșC or 1 hour. Uncover; sprinkle with cheese and continue baking about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. SOURCE: Southern Living Magazine, April, 1974.
