Ingredients
- 5/8 barley (uncooked)
- 475 ml beef broth
- 450 gr extra beef (lean ground)
- 300 gr tomatoes (whole)
- 230 ml waterchestnuts
- 190 gr carrot (sliced)
- 140 gr green pepper (chopped)
- 120 gr onion
- 4 gr oregano (fresh)
- 1 gr salt
- 1 gr black pepper
Preheat oven to 180ºC . Cook beef and onion. Mix with remaining ingredients and place in 3 litre casserole dish. Cover and bake for 1 hour or until barley is tender.
