Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 475 ml water (cold)
- 450 gr brown sugar
- 375 gr flour
- 230 gr butter
- 170 gr raisins
- 75 gr figs
- 70 gr nuts
- 10 ml soda
- 5 gr cinnamon
- 2 gr nutmeg
- 1 ml cream of tartar
Mix well and boil together for 10 minutes the first nine ingredients. Remove and let cool thoroughly; then all eggs, flour, soda, and cream of tartar. Bake in loaf pan 180ºC for about one hour. ----
