Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 cranberries (whole)
- 250 gr flour
- 240 ml buttermilk
- 200 gr sugar
- 200 gr nuts (chopped)
- 150 gr dates (chopped)
- 140 gr shortening
- 5 gr baking soda
- 3 gr orange flavoring
- 1 gr salt
- 1 gr baking powder
Cake can be glazed with a thin powdered sugar icing which has been flavored with orange flavoring. Can also combine 1 cup sugar, 1 cup orange juice and quarter ts orange flavoring; bring to boil and pour over cake while warm. Let set several hours before serving.
