Ingredients
- 2 ham hocks
- 1 carrot
- 1 onion
- 1 stalk celery
- 1,900 ml water
- 375 gr split peas
- 3 gr salt
- 1 gr pepper
- some meat left on
Combine all ingredients in slow-cooking pot. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours. Remove ham bone; cut meat off, dice, and return meat to soup.
Makes 8 servings.
