Ingredients
- 1 colored miso (light)
- 1 sweet pepper (red)
- 140 gr dry durum wheat pasta
- 65 gr basil leaves (fresh)
- 60 ml water
- 55 gr pine nuts (toasted)
- 30 ml olive oil
- 16 ml lemon juice
- 3 slices garlic (cloves)
Into slivers Saute garlic in olive oil. Place in blender or food processor container with basil, quarter cup water, miso, lemon juice and 3 Tblsp. pine nuts. Process until smooth, adding remaining quarter cup water if thinner consistency is desired. Cook pasta al dente according to package directions. Drain. Serve sauce over pasta, sprinkled with 3 Tblsp. pine nuts and garnished with red pepper slivers.
