- 350 ml buttermilk
- 300 gr confectioners sugar sifted
- 280 gr butter softened
- 220 gr all purpose flour
- 150 gr brown sugar firmly packed
- 130 gr sugar
- 95 gr unsweetened chocolate melted
- 18 gr vanilla extract
- 6 gr baking soda
- 5 gr unsweetened cocoa powder less one
- 1 gr salt
Place 1 cake layer on a serving plate; spread with frosting. Top with remaiini ng cake layer. Spread with frosting on top and sides of cake. Let cake stand for at least 30 minutes before sprinkling with chocolate shavings and slicing.
