Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1/2 instant mashed potato flakes
- 200 gr powdered sugar
- 170 gr butter
- 100 gr sugar
- 75 ml milk
- 65 gr nuts (chopped)
- 14 gr soft margarine
- 5 ml cream of tartar
- 4 gr unsweetened cocoa
- 3 gr cinnamon
- 1 package pillsbury german (plus)
Heat oven to 350. Combine first 7 ingredients; blend well. Stir in nuts. Let stand 5 minutes. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls into sugar; gently toss until sugar coated. Place 5 cm apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 180ºC or 8 to 10 minutes. (Cookies will be soft in center.) Cool 1 minute; remove from pans. If desired, frost cookies. Combine frosting ingredients; blend until smooth. Spread on cooled cookies. Yield: 4 to 5 dozen. HIGH ALTITUDE -above 1930ºC eet: bake at 190ºC or 10 to dozen minutes.
