Ingredients
- 2 tabsp parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1 tabsp parsley (dried)
- 1/2 teasp basil leaves (crushed)
- 1/4 teasp thyme
- 180 ml vegetable oil
- 80 ml garlic wine vinegar
- 6 gr granulated sugar
- 2 gr onion (dried minced)
- 1 gr celery seeds
- 1 gr garlic powder
- 1 gr seasoned pepper
- 1 gr oregano (dried)
- 1 gr salt
- 1 package italian mix
A VERY GOOD SALAD DRESSING TO MARINATE TOMATOES & CUCUMBERS ITALIAN DRESSING MIX: Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, stirring until evenly distributed. Pour into a 0.25-cup container with a tight-fitting lid or wrap airtight in heavy-duty foil. Seal container. Label with date and contents. STore in a cool, dry place. Use within 6 months. Makes 1 package or about 4 tablespoons Italian Dressing Mix. ITALIAN SALAD DRESSING: In a small bowl or salad dressing cruet, combine Italian Salad Dressing Mix, venegar and oil. Stir or shake until blended. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes before serving. YIELD: About 1 cup.
