Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 250 gr flour
- 250 gr pumpkin
- 200 gr sugar
- 190 gr shortening
- 170 gr raisins
- 140 gr nuts
- 5 gr baking powder
- 4 gr vanilla
- 3 gr cinnamon
- 2 gr baking soda
- 1 gr salt
- 1 gr allspice
Recipe by: Sam Waring A spicy cookie with a mealy, rather unusual texture. Preheat oven to 190ºC . Cream together shortening and sugar. Add and mix well the pumpkin, egg, and vanilla. Sift together and add to the above mixture flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and allspice. Stir in raisins and nuts. Drop cookies onto a well-greased cookie sheet and bake about 15 minutes. ----
