Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1/2 sorghum
- 160 gr all purpose flour
- 80 ml buttermilk
- 55 gr butter
- 55 gr packed brown sugar
- 40 gr raisins
- 2 gr baking soda
- 1 gr cinnamon (ground)
- 1 gr ginger (ground)
- 1 gr salt
Recipe by: -BH&G HERITAGE COOKBOOK Cream sugar and butter; beat in sorghum and egg. Stir together flour, soda, spices, and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk; beat after each addition. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Top each with one or two raisins. Bake at 180ÂșC or 7 to 10 minutes. ----
