Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 mini chips semi-sweet chocol
- 280 gr all purpose flour
- 200 gr sugar
- 180 ml milk
- 150 gr tart apples (chopped peeled)
- 110 gr butter
- 4 gr vanilla extract
- 3 gr baking powder
- 2 gr cinnamon (ground)
- 2 gr baking soda
- 1 gr salt
-ate Streusel topping: = (recipe follows) Semi-sweet chocolate glaze: =(optional/recipe follows) Recipe by: www.hersheys.com Heat oven to 180ÂșC . Grease 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. In large mixer bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, cloves and salt; add alternately with milk to butter mixture, beating until well blended. Gently fold in apples and small chocolate chips. Spoon batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle STREUSEL TOPPING over top. Bake 1 hour and 10 to 15 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan to wire rack. Turn right side up. Drizzle SEMI-SWEET CHOCOLATE GLAZE over top, if desired. Allow glaze to set before cutting cake. dozen servings. STREUSEL TOPPING: In small bowl, stir togther one third cup all-purpose flour and 3 tablespoons sugar; cut in 2 tablespoons butter or margarine to form fine crumbs. SEMI-SWEET CHOCOLATE GLAZE: In small microwave-safe bowl, place 3 tablespoons HERSHEY'S MINI CHIPS Semi-Sweet Chocolate and half teaspoon shortening.
