Ingredients: 375 gr carrot; 140 gr suet; 240 ml molasses; 1 egg; 5 gr baking soda; 1 dissolved in; 60 ml water; 9 gr brown sugar; 1 gr salt; 1/2 lemon; 2 gr allspice; 3 gr cinnamon; 2 gr nutmeg; 85 gr raisins; 55 gr currants; 65 gr citron; 65 gr flour

55 gr currants

5 gr baking soda

2 gr allspice
2 gr nutmeg
1 gr salt

Mix all the ingredients together, adding the dissolved baking soda last. Put into a buttered mold and steam for 3 hours. (May need to use extra flour to thicken the batter).
