Ingredients
- 8 softened
- 5 eggs (separated)
- 1/2 pecans
- 400 gr sugar
- 375 gr powdered sugar
- 250 gr flour
- 240 ml buttermilk
- 220 gr margarine
- 140 gr pecans (chopped)
- 95 gr shortening
- 65 gr coconut
- 8 gr vanilla
- 5 ml soda
- 1 gr salt
CAKE: Cream margarine and shortening with sugar. Add egg yolks. combine flour, soda and salt and add alternately with buttermilk. Add vanilla, coconut and pecans. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Grease and flour 3 8: cak pans. Bake at 180ÂșC or 25 minutes.
FROSTING: Cream cheese and margarine. Add remaining ingredients. Double ingredients if you like a lot of frosting.
