Ingredients
- 8 round cake pans
- 3 eggs
- 2 1/2 c cake flour
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 1 c mashed bananas
- 1/2 c shortening
- 1/2 cup mashed bananas
- 1/4 c buttermilk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 ts baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 ts soda
- 1/2 ts vanilla
- 1/2 ts salt
powdered sugar, sifted Mix banana and juice together. Cream butter with 1 cup of sugar , then add banana and remaining sugar until it is of good spreading consistency.
