Ingredients
- 6 egg yolks
- 5 eggs (whole)
- 4 egg yolks until (thick)
- 2 at a time
- 1 level around dish
- 4 1/2 c milk
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 1 c cream (heavy)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 ts vanilla
- 1/2 tsp vanilla to boiling
- 8 slices baking dish (square)
- 4 slices bread (sliced white)
- 1 package pitted sweet dark cherries
rack to cool. To serve, spoon sauce over individual servings Makes 8 servings. Note: You might try sprinkling cinnamon-sugar mixture over the pudding before baking. It's great.
