Ingredients
- 6 cubed french bread
- 5 eggs (beaten)
- 2 5/8 cups skim milk
- 1 1/4 cups egg substitute (frozen thawed)
- 1 pound turkey sausage (ground)
- 2 cups mild cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 4 tablespoons green onions (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 1 teaspoon black pepper (ground)
This recipe can be prepared the night before in the removable Crock-Pot, refrig erated and then turned on in the morning for an excellent tasty brunch.
In a skillet brown turkey sausage and green onions in vegetable oil. Drain mea t. coat Crock-Pot wiht cooking spray and place bread cubes in bottom. Layer s ausage mixture and cheese over bread. Combine milk, egg substitute, prepared m ustard, and pepper. Pour over sausage and cheese. Cover and cook on High for 3 to 4 hours.
